What I think about Baba Nyonya ?

To wrap up all the blogs and those research i have made , I felt that Baba Nyonya is a very interesting research to look at , to those who are pretty interested in vintage , history , Baba Nyonya can be so much more than others . Being honest , Im not an historical fan person , but when you look deeper to Baba Nyonya history , you will find our so much about it , and also you will slowly fall into their history .

So , during 16th till 18th of dec, we mad a trip to Penang , which there's also Baba Nyonya houses and culture . Is a great opportunities to have a look at them with my own eyes .

Ive took a few picture of the houses, although in this trip what I've saw wasn't those old vintage Baba Nyonya houses , but I've seen the shophouses that is still being preserve .

In my opinion towards Baba Nyonya culture , Baba Nyonya is a very interesting religion and culture , is a mixture of chinese and malay religion , Baba Nyonya culture had been spread some part of asia country , such Singapore , although our and theirs Baba Nyonya might not be same , but is still falls under the same history . Their architecture might be a little different from ours , but not much .

To me , Baba Nyonya culture is pretty outstanding , why would i say that is because firstly, is an two culture mixing together to produce a new culture , which proof that new culture can be produced . Besides that , Baba Nyonya transformation of houses are really interesting , from the old shophouses , that the people who stay there , transform from one two story to three storey . The people who stay there usually stay the at the second floor , and their first floor usually are for their business , well you can imagine that how close all of their shophouses , business owners relationship . Im sure that , they celebrate every festival with their neighbourhood .

Although is a mixture of culture , but one thing that they still remain the language which is the "Bahasa Melayu " , and they still remains the food culture of Melayu .

Is pretty disappointed that i couldn't see any original Baba Nyonya anymore , like how they dress up , their lifestyle . I would love to know more about their lifestyle and how they live with it .

The buildings of baba tonya still remains , although is not the origin old baba tonya house , but at least they still remain the transformation baba nyonya house ,

We might be different , but we hope that Baba Nyonya culture and their history can be preserve till next generation . This sums up the research and blogs I've made ,
