-Calligraphy is a visual art related to writing. It is the design and execution of lettering with a broad tip instrument, brush, among other writing instruments.A contemporary calligraphic practice can be defined as, "the art of giving form to signs in an expressive, harmonious, and skillful manner"

Calligraphy continues to flourish in the forms of wedding and event invitations, font design and typography, original hand-lettered logo design, religious art, announcements, graphic design and commissioned calligraphic art, cut stone inscriptions, and memorial documents. It is also used for props and moving images for film and television, testimonials, birth and death certificates, maps, and other written works.

I always find out whats the new trend in nowadays . I always think that calligraphy need a lot of skills.

But after i research , it is very fun and easy to draw .

What You'll Need

  • Scratch paper

  • Bristol paper

  • Pencil

  • Ballpoint pen (optional)

  • Pen holder

  • Pen tips (as many as you want)

  • Ink

  • Eraser

  • Ruler

Before getting every thing started , we need to practice smoke flourishes so we know what kind of options we get it form . The on the scratch paper , use your pen and make several swooping , asymmetrical line, so that you could be your guide line .

Basically keep on practicing until you are used to it and feel that the pen can curve . Its okay that it might not look good , is the first time . We're going to pencil the final flourishes before we brings out the ink .

Basically , practice is the key of the arts . And also patience .
